So, I went for the match, actually, for two matches, lucky enough to get tickets for both the league matches, both being New Zealand matches, one vs Canada, result well we can predict and then vs SL which we lost like crazies, didn’t bat, didn’t bowl!
Well, Team Canada, they didn’t win, but they fought. Nz’s bowling is not that strong but not weak as well, they bowled out SA and Pak, really cheap and wonder what happened when Canada started to bat, as usual, got early wickets but then the fightback by Canada was worth watching, they didn’t give up, target was 350 but they didn’t look exhausted or stressed at all, the captain and most of players are of Indian origin, so, well obvious support for Canada was there, I was like the only one from my strand supporting Nz, and a few Kiwis, they clapped at every shot being played irrespective of who is playing it!
That’s the stadium experience!
