They in fact lost a point cos they drew two AT HOME vs Ranked 7 team.
So, moral for me - Ranking doesnt matter, when you have nothing to lose, you play your best.
My team came here with lost of criticism all around, lost to Bangers 5-0, and they said "How can Blackcaps even drag the test match to 5 days?" But we did, India couldnt get 20 Nz wickets.
Reason?
Not because Nz played very well
Not that pitches were doctored
Not that Indian bowlers lacked pace or spin
But India underestimated the guests!
Thats the worst you can do in cricket! We did that once we faced Bangladesh in 2007 WC, were kicked out, still doing the same!
